Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Josie understands how easy it is to appear strong on the outside while feeling
overwhelmed or alone on the inside. Whether navigating school, career demands,
ministry roles, marriage, or family dynamics, she believes no one should have to
carry life’s burdens without support.

She works with young adults and older individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, and
relational challenges. Her heart is for others to begin healing in a way that is honest,
restorative, and empowering. Josie provides a space where clients feel safe to
explore their stories and move toward healing at a pace that feels comfortable.

Her integrative approach draws from Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART),
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Trauma-Focused approaches. For clients who desire it, she also incorporates faith
and biblical principles into the therapeutic process.

Josie is committed to providing a space where each person’s story is honored, their
voice is valued, and lasting transformation is possible.
