CHILD & ADOLESCENT

At Life Transformation Counseling, our therapists provide compassionate, comprehensive care for children, adolescents, and their families. We understand that growing up comes with emotional, social, and behavioral challenges. Counseling provides a safe and supportive space for children and teens to process what they are experiencing and help them better understand their thoughts and emotions, while empowering them to develop healthy ways to move forward.
Through a child and family-centered approach, treatment is tailored to the specific needs of each child and family. We support children, adolescents, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, bullying, low self-esteem, suicidal ideation, trauma/PTSD, parent-child relationship challenges, behavioral issues, grief, navigating family changes, and more.
We believe heling often involves the whole family. Our therapists work alongside children, teens, and their families to encourage healthy communication, connection, and meaningful change.
Our goal is to help the home become a place of safety and comfort, where each family member can thrive.

Note: Parents are a part of the therapeutic process. During the initial visit, the counselor will meet with the parent(s) and adolescent together. Afterwards, there will be time for the parent(s) to speak with the counselor individually. The counselor will then meet individually with the adolescent. This is a healthy process to build trust and open communication.
