Jamie is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida. She earned a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, with a focus in Christian Counseling, from Liberty University. Jamie is a highly trained clinician who specializes in treating Trauma, including single incident and complex trauma, childhood trauma and PTSD. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP),  Jamie can help you process and heal from life altering trauma so you can experience freedom and get back to the life you deserve. 

 

Jamie’s passion for treating clients suffering from trauma stems from her own healing and victory. She has personally faced difficult life circumstances that make it easy for her to relate to and understand the pain of her clients. Because she has experienced healing from her own traumatic past, Jamie is able to offer hope and motivation, two things every individual needs in order to experience change. Her empathy and compassion are felt by each of her clients as they courageously share and heal from their own trauma and pain.

 

Jamie understands that all her clients are unique and deserve tailored treatment to fit their needs. For this reason, she is trained in various evidence-based modalities, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Brainspotting (BSP), and Somatic Experiencing (SE), all of which accomplish rapid and lasting change. 

 

In addition to trauma, Jamie also specializes in treating phobias, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, self-harming, suicidal ideation, co-dependency, relational difficulties, eating disorders, anger, identity/self-image issues, parenting issues, marital issues, spiritual and Biblical guidance needs, career concerns, family conflict, and other related struggles.

 

Jamie also has extensive experience helping individuals who are dealing with spiritual warfare related issues in addition to their clinical difficulties.

Jamie is deeply passionate about helping her clients overcome difficulties, heal from past pain and trauma, function well both emotionally and psychologically, and become all that God created them to be. In addition to utilizing research-based therapeutic treatment, she also integrates Biblical truth into therapy with clients who request to do so. She believes that through genuine support and a trusting relationship, she can help her clients find hope and accomplish their goals.

 

JJamie also enjoys working with couples, providing premarital, marital and relationship counseling. She desires to help couples heal, restore, and thrive in their relationship. Jamie and her husband have been married for over a decade, have three amazing children, and have a love-filled beautiful marriage relationship. This is possible! Her desire is to help as many people as she can experience this beauty in their marriages as well.
