Jessica's heart beats for children, teens, and families. Her experience in the classroom and around the world have prepared her to support, help, and guide others through the complexities that life can bring. She is excited to provide a safe space for clients to learn and grow!
Jessica Osborn is a Master Level Student Intern here at Life Transformation Counseling!
She received her bachelor's degree from Southeastern University in 2019 and is working on completing her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Grand Canyon University. During her college years, she got the opportunity to study abroad twice. She studied Spanish and taught English in Flores, Guatemala. Then spent time in Madrid, Spain at La Casita de Ingles working as a behavior management helper creating content and developing teacher and student materials to provide an ideal classroom experience.
In the past, she has worked as an elementary school teacher for second and third grades, as a family advocate in a foster and low-income family care center, and as a Children’s Case Manager for a multi-county behavioral health center. These experiences have propelled her passion for the need for mental health services for children and families.
Throughout her career as a therapist, she hopes to further pursue a degree in physical health and nutrition to incorporate that into her practice.
In her free time, she loves to travel, be outdoors, go to the beach, go running, and spend time with her family, friends, and her dog.
She is a current member of the American Counseling Association.
Jessica is excited about the hands-on opportunity to expand her counseling knowledge and gain experience through real-life scenarios at Life Transformation Counseling.
